At Doctor Lamp, we want every lamp to feel right in your home. If it doesn't, returning it is simple. This page explains exactly how returns and refunds work — no fine print, no surprises.

Return window
You can return your order within 30 days of the day it arrives, no questions asked. The return window starts on the delivery date shown in your tracking.
How do I start a return?
- Email us at support@doctorlamp.com with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return.
- We'll reply within 24 hours on business days with your return confirmation and instructions.
- Ship the item to our US returns facility at the address below, using a tracked shipping method of your choice.
- Once your return arrives and is inspected, we process your refund within 5 business days.
Please don't send a return without contacting us first — unannounced returns can't be matched to an order and may delay your refund.
What condition must the item be in?
The lamp must be unused and in its original packaging, with all parts and protective materials included. Items that have been installed, show signs of use, or are missing their original packaging cannot be returned.
Non-returnable items
The following cannot be returned: personalised or custom-made products, and gift cards.
Order cancellation
You can cancel your order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it by emailing support@doctorlamp.com. After 12 hours your order may already be in processing and can no longer be cancelled, but you can return it once it arrives.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Based on typical carrier rates, return shipping within the United States costs approximately $10 to $25 USD depending on your location, the size of the item, and the carrier you choose. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot refund returns that are lost in transit.

Are there any restocking fees?
No. We do not charge restocking fees. You are refunded the full amount you paid for the returned item(s).

All returns are handled through our returns facility in Miami, Florida, where they are received, inspected, and processed.
My item arrived damaged or defective, what now?
Contact us at support@doctorlamp.com within 30 days of delivery, ideally with a photo of the damage. We'll make it right straight away: you choose between a free replacement or a full refund, and we cover all shipping costs involved. You will never pay to return a damaged or defective item.
Exchanges
For the fastest route to the right lamp or finish, we recommend skipping the slow exchange process: return your original item for a refund and place a new order for exactly what you need.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we process your refund within 5 business days. The refund is issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to appear on your statement.
Partial refunds
In some cases a partial refund may apply, for example when an item is returned with minor signs of use or without its original packaging. We will always contact you before processing a partial refund — you'll never be surprised by a deduction.
One-year replacement guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our pieces beyond the return window. If your lamp develops a manufacturing fault within the first year after delivery, contact us at support@doctorlamp.com with your order number and a photo or video of the fault. After confirming the issue, we'll send you a replacement at no extra cost. This guarantee covers manufacturing defects; it does not cover damage from misuse, incorrect installation, or normal wear.
